Thank you to everyone who came out to the second Vienna-Tysons AWE Meeting. My dear friend and selling superstar, Kim Fredrich, joined us to speak about women and selling.
I love how Kim teaches because she takes the sleaze out of selling. We talked about why selling feels sleazy, but how selling is really about relationships and solving problems. We each shared about our business, why we struggle with selling, and then we each had a chance to share potential questions to ask clients in a selling conversation. During the sharing round, it was fun to play off each other and offer other suggestions.
Asking the right questions is so vital to the selling process. We each had a chance to test-run potential questions and think about ways to guide a sales discussion. Even though our businesses couldn’t be more different, we all benefited from learning how all sales conversations are really about relationships.
