Build Processes Fit for a Queen

The February Fairfax Chapter meeting was awesome! Rashida McKenzie of Queen Bee Concierge was our guest speaker. Talk about a woman who can multi-task – and simply by delegating, all of us can do more than we think. Why don’t you delegate more? Too difficult to explain what you do? Or what you want? It’s easier for you to do it? What about the “my employees do it wrong so it’s more work for me to fix it than give it to them” excuse? Queen Bee showed us what steps to take to build our systems and processes. I have already taken some baby steps to building those systems – and Rashida, I feel less stress already.

We met at Ono Brewery in Chantilly. If you haven’t heard of it, you will! Ono (Hawaiian for “delicious”) brewmasters create their own microbrews and you pour your own! Just like at a yogurt shop, you pay by the weight. And the brews range from light to hoppy to stout. Something for everyone.

Thank you Rashida and Cyndi Hoffman! You were both perfect hosts
