Running a business is hard but you don't have to do it alone!
Awesome Women Entrepreneurs - AWE is a diverse group of talented, energetic and caring women who cheer each other on. What makes us unique is our mission to inspire, connect and collaborate with women business owners in our local community — and have some laughs too!
Every month, AWE members enjoy intimate gatherings at members’ homes or local businesses that include social time as well as discussions with distinguished thought-leaders. This is NOT a mindless business card collection activity or stuffy networking event. These are real women entrepreneurs who want to help each other succeed. AWE provides meaningful opportunities for new friendships, referrals and partnerships. Everything we do is highly social, intellectually stimulating and professionally rewarding — with a healthy dose of stress-relieving fun!
Whether you have an established business, are doing a side hustle or just starting out, we are better and stronger together. Join AWE, and let’s #beawesome together!
AWE's founders Karen Bate and Evelyn Powers and AWE member, Maritza Lizama were recently featured on WUSA9 TV’s Great Day Washington about AWE’s burgeoning growth!
